Bony Rig Punching Bag Scene

This project's goal was to animate the Bony Rig trying to hit a punching bag, missing the bag, and then falling on its face. I created a punching bag asset in Maya and then duplicated the Bony Rig to be the one holding the bad. I then used the inverse kinematics legs and arms to keyframe the character punching and then missing the bag. I used exaggeration to wind up the punch which led them to fall flat on their face. It was difficult to get the right amount of body folding associated with falling flat on your face with the NURBS controls provided in the rig. |
